Stop second-guessing yourself in the therapy room.

Faith-Based LPC Supervision for Texas Associates. Online & In-Person.

You’ve done the coursework.

You know the theories.

But in the room across from a real client…

You hesitate. You overthink. You replay sessions afterward.

It’s very different from what you learned or practiced in class.

And underneath it all…. What if I’m not ready for this?

You need more than someone to sign your hours.

You need a supervisor who will help you grow into the clinician God called you to be.

I’m Liz Lawrence, MA, LPC-S — a licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with 20+ years of experience integrating evidence-based clinical tools with Biblical wisdom.

My supervision is formative, not transactional. That means we don’t just review cases—we develop you as a whole clinician: clinically sharp, spiritually grounded, and relationally resilient.

"You helped me grow in the needed areas while empowering me."

J.R.

"Helped me stay healthy in my own life through getting my hours."

L.C.

"You helped me find my voice and confidence as a therapist."

L.T.K.

You’re not supposed to feel fully ready.

Supervision isn’t where you prove yourself.

It’s where you’re formed.

But not all supervision actually forms you.

Typical supervision is where many clinicians stay stuck —

  • Sure, you checked the boxes, you reviewed the cases.

  • You get licensed, but are left still unsure in the room.

I don’t just “supervise your hours”

I step into a developmental relationship with you as :

  • a capacity builder

  • a challenger (when needed)

  • a guide and clinical model

  • a consistent support

  • a collaborator in your growth

And I remain a learner too—continually refining how I lead.

This is not transactional.

It’s formative.

Be formed into a confident clinician.

Core Promise — This is supervision that forms confident, discerning clinicians—not just licensed ones. You are not just completing hours. You are being equipped, challenged, and supported in becoming the clinician who knows how to think, respond, and stay healthy both inside and outside of in the room. All-encompassing fee of $400/month.

Supervision is a space to refine your clinical approach—not adopt mine. I look forward to helping you strengthen yours.

I typically get asked…

  • What’s the application process? Once you apply, I’ll personally reach out to schedule a 30–45 minute video call.

This is a mutual “get-to-know-you” conversation where we:

    • Explore your current clinical experiences and challenges

    • Clarify what you’re needing in supervision

    • Walk through how I approach supervision.

After the call, we both take time to prayerfully consider next steps. If it’s a strong fit, we’ll move forward with a supervision contract. If not, I’m happy to provide trusted referrals.

When possible, I enjoy meeting in person for this initial connection and contract signing.

  • How do you help me track my hours? We use a clear, shared system so nothing is missed and everything stays accurate.

    Options include:

    • The state-provided hour log

    • A structured spreadsheet I provide

    • Or a system you already use

      Each week:

    • You log your hours

    • We review them together

    • I sign off consistently

While accuracy matters, the focus isn’t just tracking hours—

it’s your formation as a clinician.

  • How will I know if I’m growing? Growth is intentional and measurable.

We use structured check-ins that include:

    • Self-reflection

    • Supervisor feedback

    • Clinical insight and pattern recognition

These are reviewed quarterly so you can clearly see:

    • Where you’re growing

    • Where you feel stuck

    • What to focus on next

From there, we create a First Next Steps Plan—so your growth is not vague, but directed.

  • Do you provide supervision outside of the Austin area? Yes. I provide supervision to LPC-Associates across the state of Texas.

    • Local associates may meet in person or virtually

    • Those outside the Austin area meet virtually

If you ever want to travel in for an in-person session or gathering, that’s always welcome.

  • What actually happens in supervision? We start by clarifying your personal and professional goals—so supervision is tailored to your development.

    In Individual Supervision:

    We focus on:

    • Your experience in and out of session

    • Case consultation and clinical decision-making

    • Discernment, confidence, and growth areas

    • When appropriate, prayer and faith integration

    In Group Supervision:

    • Each associate brings a case or topic

    • We process together in a structured, supportive format

    • You learn from both your own work and others’

    In both settings, you’ll receive:

    • Clear structure

    • Case presentation frameworks

    • Practical tools to apply immediately.

  • What does supervision cost? Supervision is an investment in how you show up for every future client—not just a requirement to complete. Because I offer a more involved, formation-focused model (not passive or minimal supervision), my rate of $400/month reflect the level of engagement and access provided.

  • How many supervisees do you take at a time? I intentionally limit the number of associates I supervise.

    This allows me to:

    • Stay engaged in your development

    • Provide meaningful feedback

    • Be available when you need support

Because of this, availability is limited and often fills quickly.

  • How quickly can I start? Start times depend on current availability and group openings. I try to have openings around graduation seasons (May, December, August).

    After your consultation:

    • If there’s an immediate opening, we can begin fairly quickly

    • If not, you may be placed on a short waitlist

Either way, I’ll communicate clearly so you know what to expect

  • Can I switch to you if I already have a supervisor? Yes—many associates transition when they realize they need a different level of support or engagement.

    If you’re considering a switch, we’ll:

    • Talk through your current experience

    • Identify what’s missing

    • Determine if this approach is a better fit

I can also help guide you through the transition process if needed.

  • What’s the first step? Apply using the link below.

From there, I’ll reach out to schedule your initial conversation.

  • Got other questions? I’m happy to talk it through with you. You can bring your questions to your consultation call—
    or reach out directly.

Let’s build your sustainable, healthy, and enjoyable practice

Supervision that forms confident, healthy, discerning clinicians—not just licensed ones.
